PROFESSION:

Served at various computer and semiconductor companies in research and delvelopment, operations management and executive administrative roles, including NCR, Philco-Ford, Intersil and Nitron.

Co-founded Eurosil GmbH, a CMOS semiconductor R&D and manufacturing company with Dr. Jean Hoerni in Munich, Germany (1971-1974) and served as its Vice President of Engineering and General Manager.

Founded Answer Software Corp., Cupertino, CA in 1982
and served as President and CEO of this debugging
(DOS and Windows) and database query (PC to Mainframe)
company for over 20 years until retirement in 2004.

Director, Hytek Microsystems, Inc., Carson City, NV, a public NASDAQ hybrid and military semiconductor company, for over eight years until company sold to another private company in 2003.


ACHIEVEMENTS:

Early contributions to MOS and CMOS technologies in both design and process development.

Early contributions to CMOS watch, calculator, and computer chip development, with several patents.

Manage the development and sale of debugging software on PC, which help such customers like IBM and Microsoft in debugging DOS, Windows, and application programs.

Managed the development of database and object query software that connects PC to mainframe for Apple Computer and HP (Tandem Computer).

FAMILY:

Married to Florence Chen Tang, who is a Class of 1958 graduate of Maryknoll, HongKong (now Marymount) and also graduated Xavier University, OH (BS Chemistry). We are looking forward to our own golden jubilee (anniversary) in 2014,

HOBBIES:

Bridge, dancing, poker and other card games, tai-chi and travelling (especially cruising).
