I've just watched a documentary program about the life of Jin Yong aka Louis Cha. You all know who he is. Everyone should have read some if not all of his famous novels when we were young. Since I was trying to recall some of the Wuxia novels I read during my high school years I decided to look up more materials about Jin Yong's details. Lo and behold! if you type in "Louis Cha" in Google you'll get the whole shebang of Jinology in the Wikipedia. There are 12 pages of sumptuous materials for one to enjoy and of course they include most importantly all of his book titles. If anyone has the inkling and feels like joining in for more discussions about Jin's books I welcome your thoughts and reflections on the subject. Better still, lets open the discussions to all SJC alumni.
By the way Robert or anyone, do you know of any source of the English translation of Jin's novels and where to get them. I would very much like to get them and let my sons and daughter, and my grand-daughters, to have a chance of reading these world renowned publications. Welcome to the book club. Anyone?
