After leaving St. Joseph's College in 1958, I obtained a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of New South Wales, Australia. I spent a post-doctoral period in Tallahassee, Florida, and then returned to teach at UNSW. I retired as the Director of First Year Studies in Chemistry at UNSW. I am married, with 2 children, and four grandchildren, and we live in Sydney. Present occupation is spending time with my grandchildren and travelling with my wife. Peter Chia |
