Having obtained a B.A.degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Michigan in 1963 I returned to Hong Kong to embark on a work career which spanned over 35 years.
Almost all of the companies which I worked for are based in U.S.A. In chronological order from first to last my employers were: Philip Morris (New York), Levi Strauss (San Francisco), Parker Pen (Janesville, Wisconsin) and S.C. Johnson (Johnson Wax in Racine, Wisconsin).
Amy and I got married in 1968 and have two sons. We emigrated to Canada and resided in Vancouver in 1982 with myself traveling back and forth out of Hong Kong until I retired in 1998. While with S.C. Johnson I was put in charge of Hong Kong for 7 years, Japan and the Philippines each respectively for 2 years.
I have always envied people who excel in Tai Chi and Table Tennis. Therefore soon after I was relieved of office chores I took up lessons from professional coaches on these 2 sports. I have to take things more easily now, however, due to a knee injury sustained by excessive stresses.
