William Grose

William E. Grose, M.D., 68, passed away peacefully April 26, 2011. Dr. Grose is survived by his two sons Eric and Erwin, and his two brothers John and Charles and their families. Born in Hong Kong, Dr. Grose was an award-winning athlete in his youth. He received his master's and M.D. from The University of Toronto, Canada. After his residencies and fellowship in Canada and post-graduate studies at MD Anderson Cancer Center, he practiced oncology for over 30 years, first at the VA Medical Center in Houston, Texas, then in private practice in Baytown, Texas, with affiliation at San Jacinto Methodist Hospital. Dr. Grose cared deeply for his patients. His passion for his work was evident to them and to all who worked with him. In his free time, he enjoyed his loves for food, golf, art and music.
